1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated or ground
1 teaspoon of curry powder
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour

Melt the butter
Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and sauté until lightly browned
Add the curry powder and mix well
Add the flour, mixing well
Gradually add the coconut milk and regular milk, stirring constantly and cooking until thickened
Season to taste with salt and pepper
This sauce is great with cooked chicken or shrimp
Serve with hot rice as a main dish at a party or special occasion
It can also be served in coconut shells if desired.
