100 g of candied oranges, cut into large chunks
100 g of candied pineapple, cut into large chunks
100 g of candied peaches, cut into large chunks
100 g of candied figs, cut into large chunks
100 g of candied cherries
4 cups of water
1 3/4 cups of sugar
1 bell pepper, cut in half
1/4 cup of mustard seeds
100 g of candied oranges, cut into large chunks

In a large pot, bring the water, sugar, bell pepper, mustard seeds to a boil over high heat
Stir occasionally
Let it simmer until the syrup thickens
Remove from heat
Add the fruits and stir slowly
Let it cool and transfer to a medium bowl
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 6 hours
Serve chilled.
