Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave
Let it cool
Beat the egg whites until stiff and gradually add the sugar to form stiff peaks
Add a little of the melted chocolate to the egg mixture, mix well, and combine with the remaining chocolate
Place in a large serving dish or individual cups, cover and refrigerate until firm
Chill for at least 6 hours.
