Alright, the holidays are over and it's time to get back into the swing of things. Time becomes more precious in the city, especially on a weekend at the beach, for instance. So I suggest a recipe that's been tested in my Bahian gatherings. A dough that serves my nieces and nephews who return famished from a sweet water bath. Here's what I did: I took 6 tomatoes and 1 large onion, cut them into pieces, 1 tablespoon of oregano, salt, and 1/4 cup of olive oil. In a covered baking dish, I put everything in the oven at a high temperature. Meanwhile, I boiled a pot with water and salt. I removed the baking dish from the oven and passed the tomatoes through a blender. Cooked 500g of talharim, drained it, and seasoned it with the sauce and grated Parmesan cheese. The kids ate everything!
For variety: place in the baking dish with the tomatoes, shrimp or fresh tuna (chopped), canned tuna, or sardines. In these cases, serve without cheese.
