1 can of green corn
2 1/2 cups of milk
1 small onion, chopped
1 1/2 slices of bread, cut into cubes and crust removed
to taste salt and pepper
1 tablespoon (of a spoon) chicken broth granules or 1 tea bag of chicken broth

Place the strained green corn, milk, onion, and bread in a blender
Blend well
Transfer to a pot and add remaining ingredients
Simmer well to dissolve the chicken broth tea bag
If desired, sprinkle chopped parsley
Serve 3-4 portions
