1 3/4 cups of milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 can of cornmeal, drained
1/4 cup of salted peanuts, chopped
1 3/4 cups of milk

2 tablespoons of sugar
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 can of cornmeal, drained
1/4 cup of salted peanuts, chopped
In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vegetable oil
Add the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt
Beat until smooth
Add the cornmeal and peanuts
Mix well
Fry 3 tablespoons of this batter in a greased skillet over medium heat, turning once
Serve with honey or Karo syrup
