Combine oatmeal, raisins, honey, and butter in a bowl and mix well
Add the boiling water and mix for another minute
Let it rest for five minutes until the moisture disappears

Add the egg, sifted flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon to the first mixture
Add this to the first mixture

Add the peanuts (or hazelnuts) and mix well
Spread in a greased cake pan
Bake at 220°F for 50 minutes or until golden brown
Let it cool before slicing.
