3 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups grated carrot
2 cups papaya in syrup, well drained and chopped
4 well-beaten eggs
1 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/4 cup chopped nuts or hazelnuts

Sift the dry ingredients into a large bowl, making a depression in the center
Combine the remaining ingredients and place them in the bowl
Knead well until a homogeneous mass forms
Place in two English muffin tins, greased and bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour.
