Dissolve the yeast in warm water
Sift the flour
Combine the sugar, salt, and half of the flour with the yeast
Beat until a smooth batter forms
Add the egg and butter
Add the remaining flour and beat well
Cover and let rise in a protected area for about 30 minutes
Grease 12 muffin tin cups
Mix the dough
Place the dough in the cups, filling them halfway
Let rise until the dough reaches the edge of the cups
Bake for 15 minutes
This is a more tender dough.
