2 1/2 cups of canned pumpkin or sweet potato, diced
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of wheat flour
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 cup of raisins without seeds
2 1/4 cups of wheat flour
3/4 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of butter or margarine
confectioner's sugar
2 1/2 cups of canned pumpkin or sweet potato, diced
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of wheat flour
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 cup of raisins without seeds
2 1/4 cups of wheat flour
3/4 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of butter or margarine
confectioner's sugar
Drain the pumpkin or sweet potato and chop it
Mix the fruit with 2 tablespoons of sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, and 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
To one part, mix 2 1/4 cups of wheat flour with 3/4 cup of sugar
Add butter or margarine to the small pieces and mix until a crumb forms
Add about 4 tablespoons of water to form a firm dough
With a rolling pin, open small pieces of that dough, quite thin
Cut circles of about 12 cm in diameter
Place pumpkin or sweet potato in one half of the circle, slightly moisten the edges of the dough and fold to form the pie
Press the edges well with a fork
Fry in plenty of oil for about 4 minutes
Place on absorbent paper and then dust with confectioner's sugar
