Melt the butter in a frying pan
Add the chicken and onion
Fry on low heat, stirring constantly, for 5 to 8 minutes until the chicken and onion are tender
Blend this mixture in a blender
Combine the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth
Pour into a serving dish or mold
Serve with thinly sliced French bread, saltines, or crackers
