1 Place the chocolate in a saucepan and add the cream
Heat over low while stirring
Stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture thickens slightly
Whisk together the ground almonds, cornstarch, and a little cream to form a paste, then stir into the saucepan
Continue cooking at a simmer, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens
Remove from heat and add the hazelnuts
Let cool slightly
In a large bowl, create layers of whipped cream and crushed biscuits, ending with a layer of whipped cream
Topping
Beat the heavy cream in an electric mixer until it forms stiff peaks
Add the almond extract and continue beating until stiff and smooth
Spread over the top of the whipped cream layer
Decorate with hazelnuts.
