In a bowl, combine the warm water and yeast until dissolved
Add the butter, sugar, salt, and flour, mixing until homogeneous
Cover and let rest for 15 minutes

On a lightly floured surface, place the dough and divide it into 12 pieces
Shape each piece into a pretzel rope about 45 cm long and shape accordingly
Place in a greased baking sheet and let rest for 30 minutes

Preheat oven to high heat
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown
Remove and brush with butter
Mix the sugar and cinnamon, dusting
If desired, add saltiness by sprinkling with grated Parmesan cheese.
