Beat the egg whites until fluffy
Sift together the sugar and chocolate chips
Add the egg whites, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating continuously
Add the vanilla extract and beat for 3 minutes
Pour into the prepared form, making sure not to trap air bubbles
Place in a water bath and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes
Let cool slightly before unmolding or serving in the same form
Optional: serve with whipped cream.
