Preheat the oven
Divide the pumpkin and raisins into two greased, floured baking dishes
Beat the egg slightly with a fork
Combine the milk, melted butter or margarine, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg
Pour over the pumpkin cubes
Bake in a moderate oven (170°F) for about 40 minutes, or until the pudding is smooth when tested with a knife
Serve warm.
