180g dark chocolate
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine

Lightly crush the cornflakes
Melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat
Remove from heat
Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well
Sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt
Combine the melted chocolate with half of the crushed cornflakes
Spread in a square baking dish greased with butter or margarine
Mix the remaining cornflakes with shredded coconut and melted butter or margarine
Sprinkle evenly over the mulatinhos, pressing gently into the dough
Bake in a slow oven for about 40 minutes
Let cool and cut into squares.
