Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (170°C)
Grease the baking dish very well with butter or margarine
In a saucepan, melt the butter or margarine
Remove from heat and, while still warm, add the chopped chocolate and stir well until melted
Add the flour, eggs, and vanilla extract
Add the active dry yeast and chopped nuts (or hazelnuts)
Stir well and spread the dough in the prepared baking dish, smoothing with a spatula
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the edges start to release from the pan
Do not overbake
Let cool, cut into squares of 5cm, and dust with flour
Make 30 squares.
