Per cheese ball, use 1/2 cup of sifted flour and add one of the following ingredients:
black peppercorns, crushed
green peppercorns
cherry jam or maraschino, drained and chopped
smoked salmon, flaked
walnuts, chopped
chopped fresh parsley

To prepare: shape the dough into a small, round form
Press it well
Deseed and pass through one of the above ingredients, making sure to cover all sides of the cheese ball
Wrap in plastic wrap, pressing firmly, forming a neat package.
