Make a caramel with the coconut and water at a thread-like consistency
Cook until you get a smooth, golden-colored caramel
Remove from heat and add the shredded coconut, cinnamon, and cloves
Return pan to medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the bottom of the pan starts to show
Don't let it dry out too much
Await cooling, discard cinnamon and cloves, and spread over the dough
