Soak the black-eyed peas in water for one day and a half
During the same period, soak the cod in water, changing it from time to time to remove the salt
Place the black-eyed peas, covered with clean water, in a pressure cooker and cook for about 15 minutes or until they become al dente
In a common pot, cook the cod, also covered with clean water, for 15 minutes
When cooled, remove the bones and shred
Strain the black-eyed peas' broth and combine it with the warm peas and shredded cod
Add the chopped onion, cilantro, medium-sized onion, salt, olive oil, and lemon juice
Mix everything and serve.
