8 slices of whole wheat bread
"4 tablespoons (or 2 teaspoons) of butter or margarine at room temperature"
14 slices of mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese, sliced (250g)
1 red bell pepper, cut into rings and seeded
1 green bell pepper, cut into rings and seeded
4 slices of cooked bacon, cut in half
8 slices of whole wheat bread

14 slices of mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese, sliced (250g)

1 green bell pepper, cut into rings and seeded

Spread butter on one side of the bread
Place a slice of cheese on top, with the buttered side down
Cover with half of the mozzarella cheese
Add 3 layers of red bell pepper, 3 layers of green bell pepper, and 2 pieces of bacon on top
Finish with the remaining mozzarella cheese
Top with bread, then add butter on top
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat
Cook 2 sandwiches at a time, pressing gently to flatten, for about 1 minute per side
Repeat until all the sandwiches are cooked.
