For the chocolate truffles, you'll need:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 large eggs
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
For the ganache, you'll need:
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons Cointreau or Grand Marnier
1/4 cup Karo syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Mix all the ingredients for the truffles in a blender and pour into four muffin tins that hold 1/2 cup each
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Let them cool down
While they're cooling, prepare the ganache: In a saucepan, combine the confectioners' sugar and dark chocolate, stirring well
Add 1/4 cup of water and stir until smooth
Add the Cointreau or Grand Marnier, Karo syrup, and vanilla extract, stirring well
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly
Remove from heat and pour into a bowl
Deseed the truffles and serve with the ganache on the side
