1/3 cup of milk

In a small saucepan, heat the milk until it starts to form bubbles
Remove from heat and add butter
Stir until melted and let cool
Precare the oven at 200°C (hot)
Grease a 23 x 34.5 cm baking dish with paper leaving a 1 cm border
Grease the paper with butter and dust with wheat flour (shake the baking dish, turning it to remove excess flour)
Beat eggs with sugar until dissolved and mixture becomes clear
Add flour, yeast, and salt mixed together
Mix well
Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing gently
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 12 minutes or until lightly golden
Extend a cloth over a flat surface and dust with confectioner's sugar
Remove from oven and let cool completely
Cut off edges and roll the cake up with the cloth, starting from the longer side
Let it cool completely
Prepare the filling: Place cherries and water in a small saucepan
Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until cherries are soft
Let cool
Pulse through a processor or, gradually, a blender
Let cool
Unroll the cake and spread the filling with a spatula
Roll up carefully with the help of the cloth
Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour
Cut into slices 0.5 cm thick
Line a 12 x 25 cm and 7 cm high mold with parchment paper
Arrange cake slices at bottom and sides, pressing firmly
Fill with ice cream
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight
When serving, wrap the refrigerator in a warm cloth
Remove from mold and remove film
Serve with whipped cream
Garnish with cherries
