Two cups of peeled and chopped raisins
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
1/4 cup of fine oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
3 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine

Preheat the oven
Place the chopped raisins in a rectangular baking dish
Mix the remaining ingredients to obtain a granular consistency
Spread this mixture over the raisins
Bake in a medium oven for 30-35 minutes, until the raisins are soft and the topping is golden brown
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream
Serve two large portions
This dessert can be varied by using a can of pineapple chunks, reducing only the sugar to 1/3 cup.
