3/4 cup of dried lentils
4 cups of water
2 bouillon cubes of vegetable broth
1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 clove of garlic
3 1/4 cups of diced tomatoes
1/2 cup of chopped cabbage
1/2 cup of small macaroni
1 can of mixed vegetables with liquid
to taste
3/4 cup of dried lentils

Cook the lentils in water, with seasonings, for 30 minutes
Remove the garlic (stick it to a toothpick so you can find it later)
Add the ingredients
Simmer over low heat until the macaroni is tender
Serve hot.
