In a large pot, bring 3 liters of water to a boil, cover, and let simmer
Add 1 spoonful of salt and let simmer again
Add the macaroni in batches, mix well, and cook uncovered until al dente
Cream Sauce
In a blender, blend all ingredients (reserve 1/2 teaspoon pine nuts) for 5 minutes or until smooth
Set aside
Drain the pasta, reserving 1/4 cup of cooking water
Mix that water into the cream sauce
Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add the cream sauce, and mix well
Sprinkle with reserved pine nuts and serve.
