One-third cup of wine vinegar
Three-fourths teaspoon of salt
One-quarter teaspoon of black pepper
One cup of olive oil

Mix the vinegar, salt, and pepper
Stir well
Add the olive oil gradually, stirring well with a fork
If desired, use three tablespoons of lemon juice instead of vinegar
You can also add one-half teaspoon of mustard
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use as needed
This amount makes 1 1/3 cups of dressing
For two people, you will need about one-quarter cup.
