For the dough:
350 g of wheat flour
1 yeast tablet
2 eggs
1/2 cup of oil
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 cup of water
10 ml of rum
For the filling:
2 canned sardines in oil
4 tablespoons of olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and seeded, finely chopped
salt to taste
1/2 cup of chives, finely chopped
For the dough:

The dough: Mix the flour with the remaining ingredients one by one
First, make a hole in the flour and add the eggs, oil, yeast dissolved in water, rum, salt, and sugar in this order
Mix until you get a homogeneous dough, cover it with a cloth and let it rest while preparing the filling
The filling: Caramelize the garlic in olive oil, then add the onion and tomato
After cooking for 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper to taste. Reserve
The assembly: Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thickness and divide it into two parts
Grease a tart pan or baking dish
With one of the dough parts, cover the bottom and sides of the pan
Pour in the filling and top with the other dough part
Brush with egg yolk and bake at 150°C for 30 minutes.
