1/4 cup of coffee grounds
two cups of scalded milk

1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
two tablespoons or 35g of chocolate

1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
a basic cake recipe, baked and cooled
a whipped cream topping recipe

Combine the coffee grounds with the scalded milk when it starts to simmer
Stir
Mix together the sugar, flour, and salt
Add the milk while stirring constantly, cooking in a water bath until the mixture thickens, stirring frequently
Add the chocolate and continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
Beat the eggs and egg yolk lightly
Combine some of the warm filling with the eggs, mix well, and add it to the filling again
Cook for an additional 2 minutes while stirring constantly
Remove from heat, add the butter or margarine and vanilla extract; let cool
Pour the filling into a cake pan, let it set slightly, and serve with whipped cream
