Roll out the cake or leave it as is. Brush with melted milk and place it in a greased baking dish. Let it rise until it becomes fluffy, then bake it in a hot oven for about 45 minutes. When it's done and cooled down, glaze it with a frosting made from 1 cup of confectioner's sugar, 2 tablespoons of hot milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Decorate the cake with cherries, nuts, crystallized fruits, and raisins.
