1 pineapple
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of ginger
1 teaspoon of cardamom (optional)
4 scoops of vanilla ice cream

Cut the pineapple into four parts horizontally and remove the core
Set aside
In a large skillet, put the sugar and let it melt until it forms a thick syrup
Add the ginger and cardamom and stir well
Add the pineapple slices gradually, allowing each piece to caramelize completely
Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream or to taste.
