Cut the absorption into 4 cm cubes and cook with a little water until it becomes soft but still holds its shape
In another pan, create a syrup with the water and sugar to a thread-like consistency
When ready, add the vanilla extract and mix well
Combine the cooked absorption, well drained and still warm, stirring delicately, and let it simmer over low heat until it starts to thicken
Remove the cubes from the pan and place them on a lightly greased surface
When they are well dried on one side, turn them and let them dry on the other side.
