5 medium onions (500 g) chopped or processed in a processor
1.5 kg of beef cut into cubes
1 tablespoon of hot paprika
2 green stalks (400 g), without husks, cut into slices
1 tablespoon of salt
3 cups of water (720 ml)

In a large skillet, melt the butter over high heat
Add the onion and sauté until it's soft
Add the beef, paprika, green stalks, and salt
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the broth is dry (about 20 minutes)
Add half of the water, stir, cover, reduce the heat, and cook, adding the remaining water gradually, until the meat is tender (about 1 hour and 30 minutes)
Add the raisins and cook until they're soft (about 10 minutes)
Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately
