200g half-cured Minas cheese, cut into 1cm cubes

In a medium saucepan, bring the sugar, water, cinnamon stick, and cloves to a boil over medium heat for six minutes or until the desired paste is reached
In a bowl, using an electric mixer, whisk together the egg yolks and whole eggs with milk, lemon zest and juice
Return the saucepan to high heat until boiling
Lentily add the egg mixture, reduce the heat, and cook without stirring until boiling
Add the cheese and distribute among dishes
Decorate with citrus peel and cloves and serve.
