2 cups of uncooked rice

3/4 cup of canned peaches in syrup, drained and sliced
3/4 cup of raisins
5 cups of hot chicken broth

Rinse the rice and drain well
In a saucepan, melt the butter
Add the onions and sauté until they lightly brown
Add the rice, sliced peaches, and raisins
Cook over low heat for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture is lightly browned and uniform
Add enough hot chicken broth to cover the rice well
Cook until the liquid has been absorbed
Check the seasoning, but remember that the broth is already seasoned
