In a blender, blend the broccoli leaves well and reserve
In a medium pan, heat the olive oil over high heat
Add the garlic and bacon and fry, stirring occasionally, until the bacon starts to brown in the pan

Add the broccoli leaves and simmer until they become tender
Add the rice and salt and stir, constantly, for one minute
Add the water and mix
Reduce heat, cover the pan and cook until the rice is soft
