2 cups of uncooked rice - 400 g
4 tablespoons of butter
2 large onions, finely chopped - 340 g
250 g of mushrooms sliced into thin strips
2 1/2 cups of chicken or beef broth - 600 ml
1 teaspoon of salt

Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (180°C)
In a saucepan, heat the rice, stirring constantly, until it starts to brown
Transfer to a baking dish
In the same saucepan, melt the butter
Add the onion and mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes, or until they're tender
Combine with the rice
Add the broth and salt and stir well
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for approximately 40 minutes, adding water as needed to keep the rice moist, until it's cooked through
Serve hot.
