Cook 1/2 cup butter and the onion slices in a microwave-safe dish at high power for 13 minutes or until the onion is caramelized
Add the rice, salt, and water to the dish
Cover and cook at high power for 14 minutes or until the rice is cooked
Set aside
In another dish, combine the remaining butter with the cod fillet that has been seasoned with salt and lemon juice
Cover and cook in the microwave at high power for 6 minutes or until the fish is cooked
Transfer the cooked rice to a serving dish
Top with the fish flakes and pour over half of the sauce that formed during cooking
Sprinkle with almonds
Serves hot
