1 cup of mulatinho beans
8 cups of water
1 Portuguese-style sausage, cut into rounds
50g of smoked bacon, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup of olive oil
2 medium onions, well chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
3 diced tomatoes without skin and seeds
2 cups of rice
1 blood chorizo (morcela)
Salt to taste

Cook the beans and water in a pressure cooker
When it starts to boil, reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes
Turn off the heat and let the steam out
Open the cooker and add the sausage and bacon
Fry for another minute
Remove the beans and meat with a slotted spoon
Reserve the broth
Warm the olive oil in a pan
Add the onion and garlic
Fry until golden, then add the tomato
Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until it breaks down
Combine the beans, meat, and stir well over high heat for 2 minutes
Add 6 cups of reserved broth
If the liquid doesn't cover, add water
Add rice and morcela
Season with salt and let it simmer
Cover the cooker and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, until the rice is soft and creamy
Cut the morcela and serve still warm, with bean rice.
