In a large skillet, bring the water and milk mascavo to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon, until dissolved (about 5 minutes)
Add the bananas, reduce the heat, cover, and cook until they're tender (8 minutes)
Distribute the cheese over the bananas, cover, and keep it warm until melted (2 minutes)
Transfer to a decorative plate and dust with cinnamon
Serve immediately
