In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the orange juice with sugar to boil
Add the clove and cinnamon
Stir with a wooden spoon and let it thicken slightly and reach a gelatinous consistency

Do not stir
Let it simmer for five more minutes
Pass the wooden spoon over the eggs to form a cross shape
