1/2 cup of sugar (90 g)
2 eggs
1/4 cup of oil (60 ml)
1/4 cup of Porto wine (60 ml)
1 1/2 cups of wheat flour (180 g)
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast
Oil for frying
4 bananas (ninas or prata), cut into pieces
Sugar and cinnamon to taste (for dusting)

In a bowl, mix the sugar, eggs, oil, and Porto wine
Beat well until it's uniform
Add the flour and yeast, and mix well. Reserve
Fry each banana piece in the reserved batter, until golden brown
Control the heat to prevent the oil from heating up too much
Drain on paper towels
Dust with sugar and cinnamon
Serves warm or at room temperature
