In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and gradually add the sugar, beating constantly until light and fluffy
Add the egg, flour, and cinnamon, mixing well
Pour into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish
Brush with a little milk and sprinkle with chopped nuts, pressing gently onto the batter
Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for about 50 minutes
Cut into bars while still warm.
