Coconut Lime Glaze

Melt the butter with 1/2 cup all-purpose flour until the mixture is light and fluffy
Add 1 cup grated coconut to the mixture and mix well
Press the mixture into the bottom of a rectangular baking dish
Bake in a moderate oven for 10 minutes
Beat the eggs, vanilla extract, and remaining flour together
Sift the remaining flour, baking powder, and salt together
Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well
Mix in the shredded coconut and nuts
Distribute the mixture evenly over the prepared baking dish and bake for 20 minutes
Let it cool in the baking dish
Coconut Lime Glaze
Melt the confectioner's sugar, heavy cream, and lime zest together in a saucepan over low heat
Stir until smooth and shiny
Let it cool slightly and pour over the cooled coconut bars
Cut into squares when cold
Distribute approximately 2 days of bars.
