4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 cm thick slices
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup of hot water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup of cheddar cheese, grated
4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 cm thick slices

In a 20 x 20 cm square baking dish, arrange layers with potatoes and onion
Add hot water and salt
Cover with plastic wrap (Rolopack and Magipack) leaving one corner open
Place in the microwave at high power for 11 minutes until potato is cooked but still firm
In a small bowl, melt butter in the microwave at high power for 1/2 minute
Add flour and oregano and mix well
Add milk gradually, stirring constantly
Pour the sauce over potatoes, sprinkle with cheese and place in the microwave at medium power for about 5 minutes covered until mixture is hot and cheese melted
Remove from oven and let it rest under a cover for 10 minutes before serving
Serve in 6 portions.
