Beat the butter or margarine with the granulated sugar until creamy
Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating well
Add the flour and 3/4 cup of praline crumbs, mixing well
Form logs about 6 cm long by about 1.5 cm thick
Place in a lightly greased baking sheet, leaving about 5 cm between each log
Sprinkle with the remaining praline crumbs
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for about 12 minutes or until lightly golden
Let cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute and then carefully remove to a wire rack to cool completely
Note: The cookies come out soft from the oven, but firm up as they cool
Store in sealed containers
Yield: About 20 cookies.
