1/2 cup praline in powdered form

In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and confectioners' sugar
Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well
Mix together the flour, yeast, and praline in powdered form
Add to the previous mixture and combine thoroughly
Scoop into small portions (about 4 cm apart) onto a greased baking sheet
Bake in a preheated moderate oven (180°C) for about 8 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges
Remove from the oven and, using a spatula, carefully transfer each cookie to a wire rack to cool
Note: The cookies will be soft coming out of the oven but will firm up as they cool
Store in sealed containers
Yield: 40 units.
