In a bowl, beat the egg whites until they become frothy
Add the sugar and salt and mix lightly
Add the flour, melted butter, and almond extract and mix until it becomes homogeneous
Preheat the oven to medium temperature

On the baking sheet, place spoonfuls of dough, leaving 7 cm of space between each cookie, making six cookies at a time
Bake for eight minutes or until the edges are golden brown
Remove from the oven and when the cookies have cooled and become pliable, remove them quickly with a spatula

Place each cookie in the palm of your hand, write a message on the center, fold it in half, and then fold it again to cool
Do not try to fold them while they are still warm: they will break
On the other hand, if you let them cool too much, they will harden
