1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup avelar (industrialized product available at import stores)
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 egg yolks

Mix the avelar with the butter
Add the confectioners' sugar, all-purpose flour, and finally the egg yolks
Refrigerate for two hours

Divide the dough into four portions

On a surface dusted with all-purpose flour, roll out one portion of the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm
Cut into slices using a biscuit cutter and place on a baking sheet
Repeat the process with the remaining dough
Preheat the oven to medium temperature

Bake the biscuits for 20 minutes or until they start to brown
Let cool and remove from the baking sheet.
