Beat the butter or margarine until smooth
Add the powdered sugar and mix well
Add the egg yolks, almond extract, and mix thoroughly
Gradually add the flour while mixing constantly
Place the dough in a piping bag and pipe letters (S or O) onto a lightly greased baking sheet
Bake at moderate temperature for about 10 minutes, until golden brown
Remove from baking sheet and let cool on a wire rack
